- Blue and Green Links Database Management: review collected papers and digital links, check links for relevancy, organize content, and prepare for uploading onto website (uploading performed by other web tech party)
- Research a blue and/or green building topic of your passion to populate the blue and green link database
Suggested research topics:
– International policy for grey and black water reclamation, potable water filtration
– International policy for zero carbon building codes
– Embodied CO2 in water
– Carbon metrics and verification for building structural materials (site built vs modular/prefab)
– Emerging alternative international funding, mortgages, financial rebates/ incentives for green buildings
– Prefab green building
– Edible landscaping
– International policy for small scale biofuel production permitted at homes, small businesses, small farms
– Zero carbon building
– Adobe construction
– Comprehensive inventory and comparison of green building materials (such as structural panels)
Specifically seeking interns who are motivated, interested in green and/or environmental economics, and passionate about contributing to a sustainable built environment
